📜 ACS Global South Charter
Applied Computer School (ACS) believes that quality education, practical skills, entrepreneurship, and digital opportunity are not a privilege for the few, but a fundamental right of every person. Across many developing nations — particularly the Global South — hundreds of millions of people are denied quality education because of language, economic circumstance, geographic distance, and the digital divide.
ACS is resolved to use modern technology, artificial intelligence, open knowledge, and the power of local languages to break down these barriers, and to enable every learner to move toward a life of dignity and self-reliance.
ACS believes that the purpose of education is not employment alone, but also the building of responsible citizens, capable entrepreneurs, and a knowledge-rich society.
⭐ Core Principles
🏛️ Institutional Commitments

This Charter is the supreme document of ACS's values. ACS's technical and operational policies are built in guidance from it. In any conflict relating to values, this Charter shall prevail.
This Charter may be amended only through a duly approved process, and only when the proposed change does not weaken core principles such as human dignity, freedom of knowledge, transparency, good governance, inclusion, and the empowerment of the Global South. 📖 About Us — The ACS Story
8 February 2011. In a remote corner of rural Bihar, in Vidyarthi Nagar, Chautham, Khagaria, a dream began.
The goal was to teach children from poor families how to use computers — but at a fee so low they could pay it themselves. ₹5 a month. That's all.
There was no big building, no big budget. There was only one belief — "The children of poor fathers are capable too — they just need a chance."
It was to give exactly that chance that Applied Computer School™ (ACS) was founded.
📅 Our Journey — 2011 to 2036
🙏 FFGPMTrust — The Founding Story
The Founder's revered grandfather, freedom fighter Shri Gangadhar Prasad, struggled for the country's independence. Grandmother Smt. Lakshmi Devi stood by his side.
In 2020, during the Covid years, when the world had come to a halt, this Trust was established in their sacred memory.
Purpose: the work our grandfather did for the country's freedom, we do today for the economic freedom of poor children.
Join this mission too!
